The Student Chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers is excited to welcome Mr. Robert Lutz Vice Chairman of General Motors to the University of Michigan. Mr. Lutz will be speaking at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Lutz has had a distinguished career both inside and outside the Automotive industry. Mr. Lutz started his career entering the Marines as an aviator after which he enrolled at the University of California-Berkeley where he received a BS and an MBA. He then went on to become one of the most influential individuals in the Automotive industry. He has worked in executive positions for Ford, Chrysler, BMW and, presently, GM. He is known around the industry for being a "car guy" due to his leading programs such as the Dodge Viper, Ford Explorer, Cadillac and, most recently, the redesigned Chevy Camaro. The University of Michigan Chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers proudly welcomes Mr. Robert Lutz to the University of Michigan.
